The Trip In the Feb of 2013, Jassi and I did a 3450 km roadtrip from Bombay to Rann of Kutch and back on a Royal Enfield Classic 500. Here are the trip notes from the 9 days on the road.
Day 1 - The long ride out of Bombay
Day 2 - Exploring the ruins of Junagadh and the seaside temple of Somnath
Day 3 - Spotting lions in the wild in Gir National Park; Sitting on terrace of St Thomas Cathedral and soaking in Diu
Day 4 - Riding through windmill country of Porbandar-Dwarka to the edge of Gujarat
Day 5 - Riding through the salt pans of Malia-Bhachau and the Banni grassland of Kutch to Safed Rann
Day 6 - Exploring Rann, the blue-green beach of Mandvi and its ship building yard
